TURKISH ATAK-II DESIGN HAS BEEN CHANGED

Reportedly, the Turkish Aerospace Industries ATAK-II 11.5 Ton Helicopter design has been changed. As per sources’ newly shared design photos of the helicopter, which is in the development phase and expected to fly in 2023. It is noticed that the wing structure has been changed.

Similarly, change is visible on hardpoints, and the Engine’s inlet area of the helicopter might be due to Ukrainian Engine recently selected by TAI.

Notably, the T929 or ATAK-2 was initially quoted as an 11 Ton Helicopter, which is now being quoted by the CEO of TAI Prof. Tamil Kotil as an 11.5 Ton Helicopter. It is to be powered with Two Ukrainian Engines.

  • Crew:  2 Pilot
  • Service Ceiling:  20000 ft
  • Speed: 314 Kph
